One of the most unexpected blessings of this season: we were able to connect with Tahni Cullen, author of Josiah's Fire — the remarkable true story of her nonspeaking son Josiah, whose words on a letterboard revealed a profound inner life and faith that has touched readers around the world.
Her story is a living testimony of everything True Vine Mission Academy stands for: that nonspeaking does not mean unthinking, and that every child carries a voice worth hearing. We are grateful for her encouragement and excited about what this connection means for our work ahead.

We are thrilled to share that our co-founder Sunny Talbert has traveled to Georgia to begin her certification process to become a Spellers Method Practitioner.
This is a major step forward for True Vine Mission Academy. Having a certified practitioner among our founding team means our students will be served by someone trained directly in the method that has unlocked thousands of nonspeaking voices around the world. Please keep Sunny in your prayers as she continues this important training.
Our merch campaign may have ended, but the mission continues. Our GiveButter campaign is still live and every contribution moves us closer to opening our doors in February 2027.
